Fold War - Unique Turn-Based Paper Strategy Game (HTML5)
Relive the ultimate childhood paper-folding game! Deploy your units, draw your target, and fold the screen to blast the enemy in this nostalgic turn-based strategy game.
Item Description
Welcome to Fold War! Remember the days of sitting in the classroom, drawing tanks and fighter jets on a piece of paper, marking a target, folding the page in half, and rubbing the back to blow up your friend's army? Fold War brings that ultimate childhood nostalgia right to your browser with a fully animated, dynamic digital experience! In this turn-based tactical strategy game, you face off against a smart AI commander.
Carefully position your land, sea, and air forces on your side of the paper, and prepare for battle. How to Play: Deploy: Drag and drop between 5 to 10 units onto your (bottom) half of the map. Follow the Rules: Keep sea units in the water and land units on the dirt. Do not overlap them! Aim & Fire: During your turn, click anywhere on your territory to mark a target dot. Fold: Click the "ATTACK!" button to fold the paper.
A direct hit on an enemy unit will destroy it! Win: Destroy all enemy units before they wipe out your army. Get ready to fold, rub, and destroy! Can you outsmart the enemy commander? (Note: Fold War is best experienced on a Desktop or Laptop screen.)
Features
Unique Paper-Folding Mechanic: Click to draw a target dot, then click 'ATTACK' to watch the paper literally fold in half and rub the ink onto the enemy's territory!
10 Unique Units: Command a variety of forces including Tanks, Artillery, B-2 Spirits, Submarines, Warships, and more.
Strategic Terrain Rules: Placement matters! Warships and Submarines must be strictly deployed in the middle sea zone, while land vehicles must stay on solid ground. Aircraft can dominate from anywhere.
Smart AI Opponent: The enemy bot will dynamically place its units and target yours. Make your moves carefully!
Friendly Fire is ON: Be careful where you aim. Hitting your own units will give you a warning, and a second mistake will destroy them!
